We are industry veterans - who have lead research and development in enterprise product companies, and have lead IT services groups in leading companies.

We have experienced outsourcing from all sides - as IT services providers delivering applications development and maintenance services, as BPO services providers helping financial companies re-engineer business processes, and as customers of outsourced services.

Management Team

Enlighta's management team brings considerable experience in developing and deploying enterprise software products to enterprises such as ADP, Wells Fargo, AT&T, MCI, BNP and other global 2000 companies.

In addition to experience with enterprise software, Enlighta's management team also has deep operational experience in managing and governing global services delivery for applications management and business process outsourcing (BPO).

Outsourcing Governance Council

Enlighta has key advisors from the industry and academia with extensive experience in IT governance, outsourcing and shared services delivery in F500 enterprises. The Governance Council members have experience in IT management and governance of over $2B annual spend in their respective industries. Enlighta Governance Council members have helped shape Enlighta’s products and services and provide guidance on industry trends and strategy.

Nipun Sehgal
Founder & CEO

With over 20 year's experience in management and global delivery, Nipun is the principal architect, visionary and executive responsible for global product strategy and services delivery at Enlighta.

Nipun has worked with Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies to help them define sourcing strategies, streamline and automate vendor performance management, design and implement governance, delivery processes.

Recognized as a leader in the field, Nipun is an Executive Advisory Member of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals Tools and Technology Innovation, and the Global Technology Industry chapters.

Prior to Enlighta, Nipun has been a senior executive in public and private software technology companies and has been responsible for global research, development and deployment of enterprise solutions for clients such as ADP, Intuit, Wells Fargo, First Data, American Airlines, Fleet Bank, France Telecom, London ClearingHouse, Chicago Stock Exchange, SIAC and GFI, MCI, AT&T and Siemens. The common theme in these applications was a high degree of complexity across the extended enterprise, and high performance and scalability requirements.

Nipun was the Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Information Officer at a BPO services provider (acquired in 2003), with operations in India and USA, providing back office services to leading financial services companies in USA and Europe.

He commenced his career at Tata Unisys and holds an M.S Computer Science from Santa Clara University, California. Nipun has contributed to papers on business process management and has presented at global sourcing conferences and BEA Users and IBM Solutions conferences.

Mike Beals
President, Governance Solutions

Mike Beals brings 20 years of HR, IT, relationship management, outsourcing, and governance experience to Enlighta where he is President, Governance Solutions.

He previously served as the Vice President of Software at EquaSiis, a wholly owned company of EquaTerra that was acquired, with EquaTerra, by KPMG. Mike designed and built the EquaSiis Enterprise solution to manage large outsourcing deals and the associated complex commercial relationships. He previously led the Governance and Transformation Advisory Practice for the first four years of EquaTerra. In that capacity, he was also responsible for governance methodology and tool development. Throughout his career he has assisted clients in all stages of the outsourcing lifecycle, with primary emphases on the Source and Manage stages.

Prior to joining EquaTerra, Mike was President and Founder of Relationship Management Solutions, Inc. (RMS), an organization that provided training, tools, and consulting services to help clients assess strengths and weaknesses of their commercial relationships. Mike facilitated development of action plans to improve or align the relationships, and also assisted both the buyer and service provider community with governance and relationship management program development. RMS methodology and tools were acquired by EquaTerra in April 2003.

Before founding RMS, Mike was the Vice President and Practice Leader for META Group Consulting’s Sourcing Practice. There, he worked with senior IT and business management leaders on sourcing strategy development, supplier selection, supplier management, and organizational assessment and redesign.

Clients with which Mike has worked include BMS, Coca-Cola Enterprises, J&J, Deutsche Bank, DuPont, Pfizer, Unilever, Microsoft, Motorola, TXU, John Hancock, Marriott International, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of RI.

Mike is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, and subsequently served in various capacities as an Infantry officer.
